Our room was spacious, very comfortable however just too warm for us – though there are days within the west Highlands when that could be welcomed by different guests. The quiet, plush drawing room of the hotel is perfect for afternoon tea or catching up with the day’s headlines – in print, TVs are limited to rooms. Almost taking second place to the panorama our food was really scrumptious and employees courteous and attentive. The spotlight of our quick break, except for Eriska’s chocolate truffles, was the view from the Cairn atop the island with two golden eagles circling effortlessly overhead one night – see blurry photos!
I assume the individual reserving the rooms should be given the most effective one. I wouldn’t have been joyful if I had to stay within the first room that was given to me. It was lovely, gracious, and private with lots of area to roam. For this value level the house owners want to invest some cash into making the lodge spotless and top of the range.

Service And Services
There are areas of the hotel thay are a wee bit drained for sure but the workers and the food hold it at 5 star ranges. Beautiful location, your personal island to explore. We beloved this place and would travel to Scotland again just to remain here. We enjoyed the restaurant, the croquet pitch, excessive tea, the indoor swimming pool, free mountain bikes and the cottage. We completely take pleasure in our keep at the scenic Isle of Erika and highly suggest this resort. The roads leading to the resort and the hilltop lodging have been very poor.

Stayed in hilltop room – very comfortable, nice view, hot tub. The food was usually very good, with some of it being glorious. Great location, providing beautiful walks around the island and with heaps to do within the neighborhood. The meals within the hotel was wonderful and so tasty and price it. The employees have been nice and the service was spot on. The room we had was more like a suite and was very good.
The restaurant workers were friendly and knowledgeable. The food was wonderful even for Michelin normal. Unfortunately the decor within the lodge was less than commonplace. There were a number of walls that were a large number, in need of a good lick of paint. Also the principle body of it could be cleaner, the steps were frequently soiled in need of vacuuming and there was a lifeless wasp on the landing window sill the entire time we had been there!

Fine eating choice in primary home was expensive with 2 teenagers at c£380 with drinks. Went for spa restaurant possibility which was a riot. Short staffed, burger and fish and chips took seventy five mins, solely 2 other tables. Waiting staff were good however only one chef on and after 1 hour, advised us they couldn’t find any mussels to make one of our major programs. In the end, meal and drinks were offered at no cost which was the best consequence – however – for price of keep for one night time it was not very good.
